1. (SBU) On December 14, Charge asked PMO Principal
Secretary Kamal Uddin Siddiqui for a BDG statement of support

on the Iraq elections (reftel). Siddiqui took the point.

2. (SBU) Comment: We will follow up with the BDG after the
election, and report accordingly.
