1. Econoff met October 17 with Czech Ministry of Industry
and Trade (Department of EU Multilateral Trade Policy and
Common Trade Policy Ladislava Votavova) and delivered reftel
demarche and letter from Commerce Secretary Gutierrez to
Minister of Industry and Trade Milan Urban. The Ministry of
Industry and Trade did not offer a response other than to
acknowledge the position of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
reported in reftel B.
