verification required by the Leahy Amendment; see para. 2.
2. (U) JUSMAGTHAI has requested that the Embassy/State
Department complete human rights vetting for GP. CPT
CHANINTORN CHALERMSUP, WG. CDR. WANCHAI PLANGSRI, and LT.
COL. UKRIT SA-ARD, who have been selected to attend the WCN
6001/6002/6003, War Game Division Joint Staff College Courses
at 5000 Sloat Avenue, Monterey CA 93940 from 23 OCT 2005 - 05
NOV 2005. Embassy Bangkok possesses no credible information
of gross violations of human rights by this individual.
Embassy Bangkok Political Officer, Jeremy P. Nathan, is the
verifying officer for the Embassy/Department of State.
