JAKARTA SEPTEMBER 7-8

1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) confirmed that
Thailand will send a delegation to the September 7-8
International Maritime Organization (IMO) meeting in Jakarta
on Malacca Strait security among littoral states. The Thai
delegation will be led by Mr. Pornchai Danvivathana, Director
of the Legal Affairs Division at MFA. Pornchai will be
accompanied by three officials from the Ministry of
Transportation. Per reftel, post passed request that the
Thai delegation meet with the USDEL on the margins of the IMO
meeting.
