Poloff delivered reftel demarche on President Bush's
Democracy Event at the UN in September to Miguel Barretto,
Deputy Director of the Office of UN Affairs at the Peruvian
Foreign Ministry, on 8/17. Barretto expressed interest in
the event, but offered no detailed comments. Post will
