SUBJECT: Demarche on ICAO Air Navigation Conference

Econoff delivered reftel demarche on key issues for the
eleventh ICAO Air Navigation Conference in Montreal to
Bekir Uysal, MFA Head of Department for Civil Aviation,
on September 4. Uysal did not offer any specific
comment on U.S. positions, but told us that the Turkish
delegation, which would include Ankara-based officials,
would be led by Permanent Representative Ambassador
Calislar.
