SUBJECT: ECOWAS PARTICIPANTS IN ACRI EXERCISE IN DAKAR

1. This is an action request. See paragraph 2.

2. Regarding reftel invitation to ECOWAS to send two
representatives to the ACRI exercise in Dakar July 9-27,
2001, ECOWAS informally notified us today that Deputy
Executive Secretary, General (ret.) Cheik Oumar Diarra and
Military Advisor, Colonel Dixon Dikio, will attend the
exercise. Mission requests forwarding of a fund cite as soon
as possible to enable us to arrange ticketing and other
administrative requirements.
