Tanoa Paihia continues support of Rally of the North
Rally of the North is pleased to announce that the 2013 version of the event will again have naming rights sponsorship from Tanoa Paihia Hotel, carrying on from a successful relationship for the 2012 event.
Tanoa Paihia Hotel is one of the premier hotels in the tourist-friendly town of Paihia, which also plays host to the Rally, with more than 60 rooms set amongst the bush within walking distance of the beach as well as conference facilities.
“It is fantastic to once again team up with Tanoa Paihia Hotel to put on the 2013 edition of Rally of the North,” says event spokesman Simon Bell. “Events are getting harder and more expensive to run so to have continued support from Tanoa Paihia is fantastic.”
Event organisers have also announced an incentive for competitors to enter early, with the first nine fully completed entries all receiving a $100 dollar rebate on their entry fee.
The event will run as the penultimate round of the Rally Xtreme series and also the third round of the Top Half Rally Series, leaving organisers to expect a strong field similar in numbers to the 62 cars that started last year’s event.
The Tanoa Paihia Hotel Rally of the North returns to some of the best gravel roads in the country on August 17, running two months earlier than its traditional October date. As well as Tanoa Paihia Hotel, the event receives support from stage sponsors, with LJ Hooker Manurewa and MRT Construction already confirming the return of their support from 2012.
