Special TechWeek event on building businesses and showcasing Virtual Reality

Rotorua X with TechCafé is hosting a special networking function onWednesday 10 May as part of TechWeek NZ. The event is
all about building businesses across New Zealand with Technology, setting up NZ’s first High School eSports League and
showcasing virtual reality.
TechWeek is a nationwide event with more than 100 events around the country to amplify inspiring technology, innovation
and design thinking that’s thriving across New Zealand.
TechCafé is an IT services company focused on leveraging the best technology solutions to transform businesses, grow New
Zealand’s technology sector and create career pathways for students and graduates in the industry.
Darren McGarvie Chair of Rotorua X says they have an impressive panel of speakers lined up to share how they support and
upskill New Zealand businesses while helping students and graduates into the technology sector.
“It’s so important that businesses utilise the vast array of technological solutions to improve productivity, streamline
operations and overall make life easier.”
“We encourage all businesses owners and professionals to come along to this TechWeek networking event to hear about some
of the options available as well as the exciting things that are happening in the technology space,” he said.
“Each member of the panel will have a few minutes to introduce themselves then we will open it up for questions. This
will be a dynamic and interactive session,” McGarvie said.
