Entries Open for 2012 NZ Hi-Tech Awards
Entrants in the 2012 NZ Hi-Tech Awards will now be able to lodge their entries online and will have a choice of two new categories to enter. The first recognises New Zealand’s growing agritech sector, the second celebrates the contribution that companies based outside of New Zealand make to the local market.
NZ Hi-Tech Trust Chair, Wayne Norrie, says the Hi-Tech Awards are gaining increasing significance and support both locally and internationally. “As a $20-billion-plus industry we are now a respected part of New Zealand’s mainstream economy and the continued growth of our high-tech businesses will only see its influence increase,” he says. “The strength of the industry is a reflection of this year’s record investment by sponsors who continue to value the work of the Awards programme in not only recognising the industry’s success stories, but its encouragement and support of aspiring companies and individuals in the sector.
“Just by entering the Hi-Tech Awards you have a unique opportunity to get your business in front of some of the biggest global names in technology,” says Norrie, “and that is something that money simply can’t buy.”
Key dates:
• Entries for the 2012 Awards will close at 5pm on 5 March 2012

• Winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner to be held in Auckland on 11 May 2012
