Brain Awareness Week

Published: Tue 1 Mar 2011 09:43 AM
The Neurological Foundation is excited to announce the biggest-ever
Brain Awareness Week programme of Brain Days and regional public
lectures in the history of the Foundation-sponsored initiative in this
country. Brain Awareness Week features in 76 countries around the world from 14 - 20 March - all events in New Zealand are free to the public, and no pre-registration is required.
Attached is a list of the week's speakers and topics, and the dedicated
Brain Awareness Week website www.brainweek.co.nz
features more in-depth information about each lecture and event, including times, venues and speaker bios. The full and comprehensive Brain Day Auckland progamme is also featured on the site - last year's event was the highest-attended (globally) in the history of Brain Awareness Week.
Please note that the Brain Day Christchurch and Rangiora public lecture events have been cancelled. Our thoughts and hearts are with the people of Canterbury.
