New Solution Enables Operators to Rapidly Deploy Analytics to Effectively Monitor, Manage and Monetize Mobile Data Traffic

(Nasdaq: OPWV), a global software innovator delivering context-aware mediation and messaging solutions, today announced the launch of Openwave® Analytics Express, a cloud-based Analytics solution which features analytics and a set of reporting tools designed to perform essential monitoring of mobile internet usage and behavior, enabling operators to improve operational efficiency without significant infrastructure investments. Analytics Express is the latest addition in Openwave’s Analytics product family, which also includes Mobile Analytics: Mediation Edition, a fully featured solution launched in March 2010.

Analytics Express enables operators to gain key network and usage related insights across a wide array of operator data sources and includes reporting functionality that can help mobile operators build profiles and segments, and leverage insights into new revenue streams. As a hosted solution, Analytics Express is uniquely positioned to provide these insights at a low-cost, low hardware footprint and rapid time to market. The offering is also highly scalable and can address specific customer requirements with rapid customization.
Analytics Express is also jointly offered with Openwave® Media Optimizer which enables operators to analyze and measure their video optimization initiatives in real-time and helps them to proactively address network capacity issues.
