Political leaders on the
big science issues
The leaders of the country's two
biggest political parties, Helen Clark and John Key, have
stated their positions and policies in 10 science-related
areas in response to a questionnaire put to them by the
Science Media Centre.
To find out where these politicians stand on genetic modification, stem cell research, science education, marine sustainability and several other issues, visit the Science Media Centre website where the answers are published in full.
The questions are also being put to the minor political parties and will be posted to the SMC website as soon as the answers are received.
