Store all your music onboard
With an 80GB Hard Disk Drive and high-speed copying from the built-in CD player, radio tuner, external inputs including USB and an iPod dock, enjoying your favourite music with the NASS55HDE system is a simple pleasure.

The GIGA JUKE Hi-Fi will store, label, and organize up to 15,000 songs which you can enjoy straightaway via the 100W S-MASTER digital amplifier, high performance two-way speakers, or transfer directly to portable music devices such as a Walkman MP3 player or mobile phone.

Manage your collection without fuss
The GIGA JUKE Hi-Fi uses music recognition technology from the highly regarded Gracenote database, to 'tag' your collection with music data from approximately 350,000 albums. With Gracenote's unique 'finger printing' technique, even tracks recorded from LPs and other analogue sources can be analysed and tagged for easy-to-follow management of your entire collection. This in-built database can also be updated as your music collection grows.

Once the NAS-S55HDE system is loaded with your music, it's time for you to enjoy the ultimate home 'jukebox'. Using Sony's new 'x-DJ' technology, your collection can be intelligently arranged into up to 27 different categories to suit any occasion - such as 'good morning' for waking up, 'party time' for socialising, and 'slow life' to chill out in the evening.

The 'x-DJ' software also makes it possible to enjoy your music collection in new ways to develop your listening further. 'Surf' your collection to create play lists, created by artist type, mood or even musical era. Keep up-to-date with your favourite radio shows by programming the system timer to record direct from the radio tuner onto the Hard Disk Drive with the timer function. Make an audio connection via Bluetooth to other playback devices in your house for full access to your at-home listening.

Release your music easily
When you want to take your favourite tunes out with you, Sony has made it simple to copy single tracks or whole albums from the GIGA JUKE hard disk to a connected personal audio device, such as MP3 players, mobile phones, USB storage devices or PSP(TM), all at the touch of a button. And it's an extremely quick transfer too - with the system capable of up to 50x transfer speed for approximately 74 minutes of music uploaded in just 90 seconds!

Your music can be stored in a format that suits because the NASS55HDE system can import L.PCM, ATRAC, MP3*, and WMA* formats.

'Music storage made simple, without the need for a PC - that's what Sony's new GIGA JUKE Hi-Fi system is all about,' said Michael Higginson, Product Manager for Hi-Fi Systems at Sony New Zealand. 'The storage capacity, software and the built-in CD Database in the GIGA JUKE makes it an awesome solution for music fans of all types.'

Sony's NASS55HDE GIGA JUKE Hi-Fi System will be available at a RRP $999.95 from 1 April at selected Sony retailers, Sony Style stores and online at sony.co.nz
