Synergy’s David Irving to lead ITANZ
Mr David Irving, Chief Executive of New Zealand-owned ICT firm Synergy International Ltd, has been elected for a two-year term as President of the Information Technology Association of New Zealand (ITANZ).
Mr Irving is currently leading an ITANZ delegation to the biennial meeting of the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organisation (ASOCIO) in Hanoi, which is expected to endorse the holding of the organisation’s 2005 conference in New Zealand.
Mr Nick Lambert, Managing Director of IBM New Zealand Ltd, was confirmed a member of the ITANZ Executive as Immediate Past President and Mr Ross Peat, Managing Director, Microsoft New Zealand, was elected Vice-President.
Other members of the Executive are: Paul Cook, Director, CGNZ; Bennett Medary, Managing Director, The Simpl Group; Robert Gosling, Country Manager, Oracle NZ Ltd; Neil Butler, Managing Director, Optimation NZ Ltd; Chris Brice, General Manager NZ, Fujitsu New Zealand Ltd; Mason Pratt, Managing Director, Provoke Solutions Ltd; Chris Quin, General Manager, Telecom Advanced Solutions; Anne Hall, Principal, IT LAW.
