----------------------------------------------------------------- 2. The Wireless Data Workshops.

Next month, in conjunction with the Wireless Data Forum's Convergence 2003, we'll be presenting a series of wireless data workshops. The first session is designed for all those people who want to know the basics about wireless data but are too afraid to ask. It is designed for senior managers who want an overview of the technologies and jargon and a better understanding of the wireless data market dimensions in New Zealand. Some of the questions we'll be answering are: "What is wireless or mobile data? How does it work for me as a customer? What is the potential reach in New Zealand?

During the next 2 sessions, we'll delve into wireless marketing as a channel to market. We'll look at how to identify the various wireless activities and how to choose the appropriate mix for the message. We'll look at the supply chain in New Zealand and review local case studies.

These courses are not designed for the technologist but rather the strategist, the marketer, and the manager. People who need to know how wireless marketing can be used and how it might impact their business today and in the future.

These workshops will be facilitated by Jill van Nortwick. She is known to look at issues from a range of angles which will help stimulate your own thinking about wireless data and its uses. Her sessions will be interactive and memorable.
