MEDIA RELEASE
Industry Unites To Seek Internet Measurement Standard
Leading New Zealand internet media organisations (including XtraMSN, nzoom.com, New Zealand Herald, Stuff, IDG, Vodafone and TelstraClear), have joined together with the support of CAANZ, representing New Zealand’s advertising agencies, and The Internet Bureau to seek an industry solution that provides an internet audience measurement tool that will become the New Zealand standard.
This is a significant move by New Zealand’s leading on-line organisations, working together to establish a measurement tool that further supports internet advertising as a mainstream media in this country.
On the 18th of March a request for proposals document will be released to those companies interested in working with the above mentioned industry group. It is the intention to have the new measurement standard in place in the third quarter of this year.
