Tradefinder Online, the new website, is the brainchild of Christchurch entrepreneur Andrew Balfour, who describes it as 'separating the wheat from the chaff' for homeowners seeking home improvement help.

Tradefinder Online only allows ten listings in each category and location, and uses exacting criteria to select only the best. "The aim is to make it faster and easier to find reliable tradespeople," says Balfour. "It takes a lot of guesswork and gut feeling out of the equation."
