gen-i appoints New Technology Strategy Manager – Australasia


AUCKLAND, Wednesday November 21, 2001 - Internet Integrator, gen-i has announced the appointment of David Spratt as Manager, Technology Strategy, Australasia.

This is a newly created role for gen-i and possibly for the technology industry as a whole.

The primary focus of the role is to establish, drive, promote and develop leading business technology practices. Key to the role will also be identifying and developing new business technology initiatives.

David has ten years experience in senior technology management positions and a wealth of strategic technology experience that allows trends to be predicted and understood.

He has led initiatives in managed desktops, security services and server based computing strategies.

He also has extensive experience in managing multi disciplinary teams in a professional services environment.

David has been with gen-i for five years and prior to this appointment held the position of Head of Technical Professional Services.
