gen-i Becomes Time Disciple
AUCKLAND, 10 July 2001–Internet Integrator, gen-i limited, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Time Disciple Ltd to sell and support the full range of Time Disciple® time recording and project management tools.
Time Disciple time accountability software has achieved considerable success both in the New Zealand and more recently international markets. It is used by organisations around the world interested in monitoring costs and revenues, reducing overheads and increasing productivity.
Customers include Fletcher Challenge Energy, Statistics New Zealand, CSC New Zealand, NZ Guardian Trust, Southern Cross Healthcare and four separate installations with over one thousand users in both the US Marines and Air Force.
“This agreement sees Time Disciple gain a strong and highly focused integration partner in gen-i, which will provide the depth of support we have been looking for,” said Time Disciple Managing Director, Grant Hughson.
The alliance is expected to boost sales in both the New Zealand and Australian market places, he said. The average Time Disciple sale is around $NZ80,000 and Time Disciple expects to grow its share of the NZ market, with the assistance of partners, to 45-50% percent by 2005.
Demand for Time Disciple systems comes from companies needing a fully-functioning time accountability application. Used for project management, time recording, job management and billing, Time Disciple has the capacity to measure both productivity and profitability.
Time Disciple staff are currently providing intensive training to the gen-i support team, in anticipation of several pending joint projects that are already confirmed.
“This is an exciting opportunity for both gen-i and Time Disciple and we see strong synergies between the two companies and the client base we service, Hughson said
“gen-i is well placed to provide support to Time Disciple’s clients, here in New Zealand and in the future through our Australia offices.
“This product range fits extremely well into our Information Services capability, and I am convinced that the “can-do” attitude of our organisations makes us a good fit for our clients.
“Time Disciple offers a flexible, accurate, human resource and project management system with the ability to easily integrate with enterprise financials, says Hughson. ”This type of system has become vital for the efficient management of complex projects.”
Paul McTaggart, Managing Principal – gen-i Ventures says a solution like Time Disciple, which lets managers map their most important asset, people, can play a major part in helping organisations achieve their business goals.
“Time Disciple is a world class offering, and we are proud to be associated with such an innovative and successful New Zealand company,” McTaggart said.
