ACT! 2000 Compatible With Newly Launched Microsoft Office XP
Free download patch available to ACT! 2000 users to enable full compatibility
Interact Commerce Corporation, the makers of SalesLogix, the leader in mid-market CRM and ACT!, the best-selling contact manager, today announced that all versions of ACT! 2000, including international versions, are compatible with the newly launched Microsoft Office XP.
“With millions of users worldwide, ACT! is a proven leader in the contact management space,” said Lisa Gurry, product manager for Office at Microsoft Corp. “We are pleased to work with Interact and thrilled that ACT!’s compatibility with Office XP is available out of the gate for ACT! users that want to upgrade to Office XP.”
In addition to ACT!’s comprehensive calendar and contact management functions, ACT! fully integrates with Microsoft Word providing ACT! users a way to produce professional correspondence such as letters, proposals and documents quickly and easily using Word directly from within ACT!. A simple selection switches users from the internal ACT! word processor to Microsoft Word for all ACT! functions. A free patch enables ACT! 2000 users to maintain all of the Word functionality they are accustomed to when they upgrade to Office XP. The patch can be downloaded at www.act.com/xp-update.
