Bonus Logitech® QuickCam® Express Internet Cameras and

AUCKLAND – May 16, 2001 – Symantec New Zealand has announced it will offer customers a bonus Logitech QuickCam Express Internet Camera or Logitech Optical Mouse valued at $148.00 (including GST) and $66.00 (including GST) respectively, when they purchase selected Symantec award-winning software solutions from retailers nationally including Harvey Norman, Dick Smith & PRG Noel Leeming. Additionally, Symantec New Zealand has announced the availability of Norton Internet Security 2001 Version 3.0 – a revamped solution featuring new intrusion protection technology, advanced virus detection with enhanced ease-of-use.

The Logitech promotional offer is available to customers who purchase selected Symantec products between May 1, 2001 and June 30, 2001 at participating retail outlets nationally. To be eligible to receive a bonus Logitech QuickCam Express Internet Camera, customers must purchase either Norton Internet Security 2001 Family Edition or Norton SystemWorks 2001 Professional Edition. Customers are eligible to receive the bonus Logitech Optical Mouse when they purchase Norton SystemWorks 2001 Standard Edition, Norton Internet Security 2001 Standard Edition, Norton AntiVirus 2001 or Norton Personal Firewall 2001.

Symantec prepares to launch Norton Internet Security 2001 Version 3.0
In addition to this promotion, Symantec has announced the latest version of its leading integrated security and privacy suite, Norton Internet Security 2001 Family Edition Version 3.0, Norton Internet Security 2001 Version 3.0 and Norton Personal Firewall 3.0. Available in Australia from May 1, 2001, the latest versions will offer customers new intrusion protection features, advancements in virus detection technology and significant ease-of-use enhancements to protect PC users against the vulnerabilities of online computing — including hackers, viruses and privacy threats.
