Young Nationals have rejected claims made by Green co-leader Jeanette Fitzsimons that it is current Young Nationals
policy to support the legalisation of cannabis.
"Certainly Young Nationals have discussed this issue many times, but contrary to what Jeanette believes there is no
impetus for change within Young Nationals and the National Party", said Young Nationals Chairman Daniel Gordon.
"National is the most democratic party in New Zealand. Unlike the out-of-control Greens who have links to all kinds of
bizarre organisations on their website, we tend to discuss our policy with our colleagues before releasing it to the
general public."

planning to take over the industrialised world and a little more checking her facts before making such wild
