Investitures At Government House Wellington

Retired Environment Court Judge Honorary Professor Sir Peter Skelton will receive the accolade of a Knighthood at investitures next week at Government House Wellington.

Other Honours recipients include country singer Suzanne Prentice, most capped All Black Samuel Whitelock, and Māori language educator and academic Professor Rawinia Higgins.

Next week’s investitures will also include two special ceremonies; one recognising those receiving Royal New Zealand Honours for services to survivors of abuse in care, and one for recipients of the New Zealand Bravery Awards.

The Governor-General The Rt Hon Dame Cindy Kiro will host 10 investiture ceremonies at Government House Wellington: Monday 28 th April (3pm), Tuesday 29 th April (10am and 3pm), Wednesday 30 th April (10am and 3pm), Thursday 1 st May (10am and 3pm), Friday 2 nd May (10am) and Saturday 3 rd May (10am and 3pm).
