Ambassador ITO Koichi’s Message And A Book Of Condolence On The Passing Of The Former PM Of Japan, Mr ABE Shinzo

Ambassador ITO Koichi and the people of Japan are deeply shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of the former Prime Minister of Japan, Mr ABE Shinzo. “It is a despicable act that took place in the middle of a national election campaign, and we condemn it in the strongest possible terms. We are proud of our democratic system, and I am confident that we will be able to prevail over the tragedy. I am truly grateful to everyone who has offered their condolences and shown their solidarity with the Japanese people,” said Ambassador ITO.

The Embassy of Japan in Wellington informs that a book of condolence for the passing of the former Prime Minister of Japan, Mr ABE Shinzo will be open to the public for signing at the Embassy during the following hours.
