Q + A - Monday April 1

Tonight on Q + A...

Should terminally ill New Zealanders have the right to end their lives? ACT leader David Seymour’s euthanasia bill is currently going through Parliament. Corin will debate the issues with Mr Seymour and one of the bill’s staunchest critics, National MP Maggie Barry.

The Prime Minister has spent the day in China on a whirlwind visit that’s seen as an important step in healing a fractured friendship. Corin will talk to Simon Draper, a former diplomat and now head of the Asia New Zealand Foundation, about where to next for the NZ-China relationship.

As UK politicians try to find common ground on Brexit, Corin speaks to British High Commissioner Laura Clarke about how the uncertainty could affect New Zealand. And some local Brits give Whena Owen their take on the UK’s future.

Q + A airs Monday nights, 9:30pm on TVNZ 1.
