“Clients of the Blind Foundation can face a range of barriers in their everyday life, and this work programme means they can have confidence in a future that is fully inclusive and designed with access in mind.
“I would like to say a huge thank you to all of the New Zealanders who got behind the Access Matters campaign and together with government and the wider community, are helping to make an inclusive New Zealand a reality. We applaud the government’s commitment to accessibility – this is a big step in the right direction.”
