Employment Court denies injunction sought against PSA members by Ministry of Justice
The Employment Court in Auckland has today ruled in favour of the lawfulness of the strike action that PSA members have been taking in recent weeks in an ongoing dispute with the Ministry of Justice over an unfair pay system and failure to agree on an across the board pay increase.
The decision to deny the Ministry’s application for an interim injunction means that there is no barrier to further such action, including strikes with a notice period of 30 minutes.
