NZ US Council congratulates Rosemary Banks on appointment to be the next Ambassador to the United States

The New Zealand United States Council offers its congratulations to Rosemary Banks on her appointment to be New Zealand Ambassador to the United States.

The Council’s chairman, Leon Grice, said “it is an important time in the bilateral relationship as we continue to build off recent wins, such as the KIWI Act and the strong relationships we have politically, economically and culturally.

“Rosemary is one of New Zealand’s most accomplished diplomats and her experience will be invaluable in Washington DC.

“We look forward to working closely with Rosemary and her team to deepen and broaden the relationship and our connections with US political, policy, academic and business leaders,” Mr Grice said.
