Ground-breaking kiwi entrepreneur Linda Jenkinson joins UNICEF NZ
13 September 2018 - UNICEF New Zealand is delighted to welcome leading New Zealand entrepreneur Linda Jenkinson as Chair of its Board of Directors.
“Children are our future, so what better way to help children than by supporting UNICEF’s mission to advance the rights
of every child, starting in New Zealand and around the world” says Linda Jenkinson.
“In our effort to reach children, I am thrilled to work alongside the UNICEF team, who are finding innovative solutions
to problems facing children here in New Zealand and in the Pacific.”
A current Director of Air New Zealand, Eclipx Group, Guild Group, and Harbour Asset Management, Ms Jenkinson brings with
her 25 years of executive management and governance experience, and a stellar reputation as a change-maker and
innovator.
In 2013 Ms Jenkinson was named EY Master Entrepreneur of the Year, and in 2016 was presented with a World Class New
Zealand Award – one of New Zealand’s top achievement honours.
Ms Jenkinson was the first New Zealand woman, and just the second New Zealander, to list a company of the NASDAQ. As

“Linda doesn’t just bring with her a wealth of experience in business and innovation, she understands the needs and
challenges of the humanitarian sector,” said Vivien Maidaborn, UNICEF NZ’s Executive Director.
“Linda’s experience and guidance will help ensure UNICEF NZ continues to adapt to an increasingly complex reality for
humanitarian organisations, and I’m incredibly excited about the positive difference she can help us make for children
in New Zealand and around the world.”
