Reform or Transform: RMLA Conference 2018
The Resource Management Law Association’s annual conference Reform or Transform is being held this year at Te Papa in just 5 weeks. EDS is supporting this important opportunity for resource management professionals to network and upskill.
Christian Sharff is a keynote speaker. He is a leading sustainability advocate in Luxembourg. Prepared in close collaboration with the American economic and social theorist Jeremy Rifkin, the Luxembourg Third Industrial Revolution Strategy sets the guidelines for the development of a new sustainable model for the country. This involves a complete transformation of knowledge and competencies within the workforce and a big challenge will be ensuring people don’t get left behind. Christian Sharff will present a keynote address on Luxembourg’s transformation journey.
Other presenters include the Environmental Defence Society’s Madeleine Wright who will focus on the continuing challenges of freshwater management and Dr Greg Severinsen who will comment on whether the RMA is fit for purpose to handle climate change related challenges.
