Thousands of dollars in prizes to be won this Easter with Childfund New Zealand’s social media giveaway
International development organisation, ChildFund New Zealand are launching an Easter contest in conjunction with local
New Zealand businesses. The children’s charity will be giving away two of their beautiful Maka Emali baskets, hand-made
by the Maasai and Kamba tribes in Emali, Kenya as part of an income generating project in a region regularly affected by
drought and poverty.
These bold and colourful baskets will be filled with generous donations from organisations throughout both the North and
South Islands and are estimated to be worth over $2,000 each. Prizes include but are not limited to:

ChildFund New Zealand will be running the giveaway on both their Facebook and Instagram accounts. On Facebook, users
simply need to “Like” the charity’s page and share the post to enter. On Instagram, users need to “Follow” ChildFund New
Zealand’s account and then tag the handle of their friends or family in the comments below the post for a chance to win.
