Have your say on the inquiry into honey
Do you want to help shape the future of honey in New Zealand?
Parliament wants to hear your voice – public submissions are now open on the Primary Production Committee’s inquiry into honey. The inquiry seeks to investigate the following topics relating to honey:
• the definition of Manuka
• health issues for bees
• how security and workforce issues affect the honey industry
• indigenous issues relating to the branding of honey
• international branding.
The committee welcomes submissions from interested organisations and individuals. After receiving submissions and hearing evidence, it will publish a report based on this evidence.
Tell the Primary Production Committee what you think
Send your submission on the inquiry by midnight on Thursday 15 February 2018.
