HaveYourSay.nz Helps Families Contact MPs
Family First NZ has updated and launched their website HaveYourSay.nz designed to put the power back into the hands of families, and to help them be a 'Political Advisor' for family issues in NZ.
“The site has been updated since the 2017 Election. It’s vital that our elected representatives hear the voice of families on issues that are important to them. This resource has just made the task that much easier,” says Bob McCoskrie, National Director of Family First NZ.
The website enables someone using their smartphone or personal computer to:
• find their local electorate MP & List MPs based in their electorate.
• email or phone MPs using one-tap links. (The site sets up the email for users to send on their smartphone or computer).
• link to MPs’ social media accounts (Facebook & Twitter).
• email all MPs using a one-tap link, or select certain MPs to email (e.g. from a particular party).
