ILGA Oceania is excited to welcome the new Labour lead government.
Co-convenor, Rawa Karetai said that, "after a long campaign and coalition negotiations, it is great to know that LGBTI
rights will continue to progress in New Zealand"
Karetai continued to say that, "both Labour and the Green Parties campaigned to improve the human rights for LGBTI
people. ILGA Oceania will continue to campaign for a huge range of policies.
ILGA Oceania is also going to host the world conference in March 2019 where around 700 delegates are expected to come.
