Predator Free 2050 Limited statement
Response to Prime Minister’s announcement – additional $40 million in funding for Predator Free 2050 Limited over the next four years.
Predator Free 2050 Limited is delighted with the news of additional funding of $40 million over the next four years. This will be well invested into community conservation groups and volunteers throughout New Zealand.
This financial support is commensurate with the groundswell of community interest in the predator free movement which now has thousands of community organisations around New Zealand involved and committed to protecting and enhancing our natural heritage. This will help empower communities to turn their ambitions into an achievable goal.
Predator Free 2050 is now well and truly entrenched in the New Zealand psyche and this funding will go a long way towards realising its success.
