Ministry of Defence Major Projects Report 2016 Published
In 2008, the Office of the Auditor-General identified a need for the Ministry of Defence and the New Zealand Defence Force to report better and more complete information to show how well they manage projects to acquire new defence capability.
Since 2010, the Ministry of Defence has produced annual Major Projects Reports that report on the status of capability projects that had been approved by Cabinet and are being managed by the Ministry of Defence. We reviewed these Reports while they were prepared.
The 2016 Major Projects Report has now been published and includes our commentary on the report.
Find out more information and read our original 2008 report on our website.
