Monday 6 March 2017

Nathaniel Blomfield selected as Labour’s 2017 candidate for Coromandel

Nathaniel Blomfield has been selected as the Labour Party candidate for Coromandel for the 2017 General Election.

“I am pleased to be Labour’s candidate for the 2017 election and I look forward to representing the Coromandel electorate in Parliament,” said Nathaniel Blomfield.

Nathaniel is a Coromandel local working in landscaping and in the tourist industry, whilst raising a young family in the Tairua area. He has an in-depth knowledge of the complex geography and the diverse range of people living in the Coromandel electorate.

Labour’s President, Nigel Haworth, said: “Nathaniel joins our growing list of energetic and fresh candidates who will stand for Labour in 2017. Our focus is on electing a strong, Labour-led government next year that will rise to the challenge, back the Kiwi Dream and build a better New Zealand.”
