Mayor elect may “move in” to mayoral office

Final election results announced


Saturday 15 October
Public notice of declaration of election result


Sunday 16 October
Term of office of all elected members expires
New members term commence


Sunday 16 October – Tuesday 1 November

CEO holds delegated authority


Wednesday 26 October – Friday 4 November
Local body inaugurations (listed on AC website)

Tuesday 1 November
6pm inaugural meeting of governing body (mayor & councillors). This meeting will be adjourned until the following day

Wednesday 2 November
Continuation of inaugural meeting of governing body
