CCC media advisory: Election progress results out now

Progress results for the 2016 Christchurch City Council election are now available on the Council’s website.

A news story about the progress results is also available on Newsline. This includes quotes from the successful Mayoral candidate and Electoral Officer Jo Daly.

Preliminary results will be available by midday on Sunday 9 October. Posts on the Council’s Facebook page and Twitter feed will link to the results when they are available. A public notice with the declaration of official results will be issued between 13-19 October.

Please note:
• Progress results mean not all ordinary votes have been counted yet. Results could change.
• Preliminary results mean all ordinary voting papers have been counted but not all special votes. Results could change.
• Official results: all ordinary and special votes have been counted. Results are final.

Results of the Canterbury District Health Board election will be released by their Electoral Officer.
Results of the Environment Canterbury elections will be released by their Electoral Officer.
