Our website launch on 1 September was the key focus of our 12th annual Diversity Forum where we asked New Zealanders to share their personal stories via our website and to date we have hundreds of submissions,” said Human Rights Commission spokeswoman Christine Ammunson.
“Members of our Enquiries and Complaints team as well as our Legal team provided the show’s producers with information about the jurisdiction of the Human Rights Commission and the relationship between the Broadcasting Standards Authority and the Human Rights Commission when dealing with broadcast related complaints and complaints about racial discrimination.”
