Pacific Island Safety and Prevention project
Pasifika Futures have been advised that after serving Pacific women, children and families for 30 years the Pacific Island Safety and Prevention Project will be ceasing services.
We acknowledge the contribution the organisation and its staff have made to our communities and in particular acknowledge the contribution that they made to “Nga vaka o kaiga tapu – A Pacific conceptual framework to address family violence in New Zealand” which has provided a strong foundation for the manner in which we work with our communities.
We are now working in partnership with the organisation to ensure that all families who are engaged with the organisation under the Whānau Ora programme are supported to transition successfully to other support services.
