With a RECORD 569 DEATHS FROM SUICIDE in the last year, you would hope Jonathan Coleman had woken up, and started to do
something about one of the biggest failures of his Govt - but chances are that its just hot air rolled out to make
himself look good on the eve of World Suicide Prevention Day.
Maybe as much hot air as he and his Waikato DHB have expended on investigating the death of Nicky Stevens in the 6
months since he drowned in Waikato River - nice words but zero action!
His comments insult the intelligence of all people, families and support workers who are working in the suicide
prevention area - and make Nicky's family wonder why over a hundred people are coming to the Hamilton forum on 22 Sept
from around the country to develop community action plans to combat the record problem!
