Save Campbell Live rallies this Friday
Rallies are being held across New Zealand this Friday, April 24th in support of Campbell Live.
In Auckland the Save Campbell Live petitions organised by ActionStation and Scoop will be presented to TV3. Supporters are hoping that TV3 will hear their calls for Campbell Live to be retained in the coming review.
“This issue has galvanised New Zealanders more than anything in recent memory and we’re expecting a massive turnout on Friday” said the Auckland Save Campbell Live Rally organiser, Ruth Crichton.
Rally Details:
The Auckland rally starts on the corner of Karangahape Rd & Symonds St at 11.30. It will march to TV3/Mediaworks in Flower St.
The Wellington rally is at 4.30pm at Te Aro Park
The Christchurch rally is from 12 noon in Hagley Park (455 at the south end, next to the tennis club)
The Dunedin rally is at 4.30pm in the Lower Octagon.
Over 100,000 people have signed the petitions and organisers are expecting strong support at the marches.
