Sea Shepherd - New Zealand Joins "World Love for Dolphins Day!" at 33 Japanese Embassies And Consulates Around the
World!!!
Today Sea Shepherd will be leading demonstrations at Japanese Embassies and Consulates across the globe. Thirty three
cities including Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch will stand with the Cove Guardians in demanding an end to the
bloodshed in Taiji. Sea Shepherd invites all to join us for the peaceful demonstrations and show their support for the
dolphins that are unfortunate enough to be travelling past the Japanese coastline. On a day meant to celebrate love, we
will show Japan the love felt by the people of the world for dolphins.
We will also be mentioning the New Zealand shame. The dishonour that is the "Silent Slaughter" of the NZ Dolphin, which
is not as publicly brutal as Taiji but still as devastating. We invite the Japanese Government and its people to remind
the New Zealand Government of their obligations to safeguard this vulnerable species.
Peaceful demonstrations will take place on Friday 13th February: 12-2pmat the below NZ locations:
