desiccation with Roundup, a leading cause of rural health problems. Exposure to Roundup has be shown to increase incidence of female cancers and reproductive problems and male problems such as infertility and prostate cancer.(2)

Research by Professor of Molecular Biology, Gilles-Eric Seralini from France, the longest, most detailed study on a GMO and its related pesticide, Roundup, has shown the link between Roundup and numerous health problems. (3)Professor Séralini's initial research focused on the prevention and treatment of breast cancer. In his work at the interface of cancer and endocrinology, he became interested in the causes of cancer, reproductive problems, and endocrine disruption.
He is just one of the high powered international and national speakers to be presenting evidence of Roundup’s threat at the Food Matters Aotearoa conference. 14th- 15th February,Te Papa, Wellington. (See:- foodconference.co.nz)
Among those invited to attend are MPs, regulatory agencies, research institutes. farm industry bodies and leading food manufacturers.
“Accusations have been made that government and regulatory agencies responsible for the safety of farming and food have been colluding to ignore the dangers of pesticides to our health,” says Susie Lees of the Food Matters Aotearoa conference team. “Participants in the conference will be able to decide for themselves.”
