ALCP Release Election Manifesto

The Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party has released its manifesto in the lead up to the election on Saturday.

ALCP leader Julian Crawford said the publication was an intersectoral look at how ALCP's policy impacted across 13 key portfolios.

"Each of ALCP's 13 candidates is a spokesperson for one of the portfolios and they were given two pages each to explain their policy area," he said.

"The 13 policy areas are designed to cover as many cabinet portfolios as possible."

The manifesto is aimed at distancing the party from the claim that there is no place for single policy parties in the election.

"With intersectoral policy you can really see how our single policy can come alive and be relevant to all New Zealanders," Mr Crawford said.

"It is exciting to be able to share our vision with voters in the lead up to the election. Digital publishing has changed the playing field for small parties with limited budgets."

ALCP can now get publications out to members and supporter in a matter of hours, at no cost.

ALCP is campaigning for the Party Vote on September 20.
