After being informed of the legal implications of publishing the photos and also that the content was being posted
without consent - they reluctantly removed the photos from their website - but they republished an article linking to
the images indicating that the consent aspect is still not-a-factor. They still kept continuing to share the photos
despite knowing it was against her will.

The Edge website, owned by Media Works have published fully naked photographs of Jennifer Lawrence without her consent.
The private images were illegally stolen from Jennifer and released on website 4-Chan. Jennifer is taking legal action
about the release of her photos through 4-Chan, which clearly indicates how affected she is by the incident. Complaints
have been made to The Edge - who have been informed that legal action is being taken around the images but they have
refused to remove the photographs. I personally complained but representatives have said that they were within their
rights and the photos would stay.
It is not OK to publish naked photographs of any woman without her consent, full stop.
It is disgusting to see this on The Edge website in the wake of the Roast Busters incident which specifically involved
without-consent online publishing of media in order to "expose" women. If mainstream media outlets fail to have a basic
comprehension of what consent is, how are the public supposed to understand? Celebrity or not every woman has the right
to be protected from without-consent publishin of naked photographs or similar.
This is an example of the same kind of cultural values that saw the roastbusters incident occur. Displaying her photos
without her consent is an example of rape culture, again we see the normalisation and trivilisation of without-consent
behaviour.
