Political Debate on Family Violence – Livestream
The Dunedin Collaboration Against Family Violence is happy to announce the upcoming political debate on Family Violence chaired by Professor Nicola Atwool of the University of Otago. Family Violence is a huge problem in our community and we invite representatives of four major parties to discuss how they propose to challenge family violence in our community.
Political Debate on Family Violence

Claire Curran – Labour
Jacqui Dean – National
Jan Logie – Greens
Tracey Martin – New Zealand First
To enable as many people as possible to participate in the debate, we are seeking questions that I will collate and we will put to the panel. Please send questions to me [dcafv@xtra.co.nz] byWednesday 5th September at the latest so that the panel members are able to consider their answers before the discussion.
The discussion will be livestreamed so that it can be watched from your own home, and a copy of the recording will be available to download after the event.
