Winston Peters: ‘Dirty Politics' is a new low

New Zealand First leader Winston Peters on TV1’s Q+A programme: ‘Dirty Politics’ is a new low
Key points:
The ‘Dirty Politics’ saga is a new low in politics and Judith Collins should go:
“I think it's irreparable, unless she finds God or something people have reason to believe her in the future, but I think it's all over now.”
“Anyone in the Prime Minister's situation who is prepared to keep Judith Collins on is actually first of all letting the whole of his caucus down, the whole party down, and I think the country – the country right now would be 80% for her to go.”
NZ First would ‘reconfigure’ NZ’s immigration figures:
“You’ve got to ask yourself what on earth's going on with our immigration, is there any plan or is there any focus? And immigration's legitimate issue, as we've always believed, that we will always need immigrants to fill the skills gaps in certain things in science and education we haven't got. But what we've got now is wholesale imported consumerism, where half will not be working, and not for a long time as well.
Q+A, 9-10am Sundays on TV ONE and one hour later on TV ONE plus 1. Repeated Sunday evening at 11:35pm. Streamed live at www.tvnz.co.nz
